TRACKING
Sunday January 29th we will have our first tracking class of the year! The class cost $15.00 and is open to any dog. All dogs can track. It is on leash. Your dog needs no obedience training. You should not feed your dog that day (they smell better when hungry). You need a regular collar or harness. Dress warmly as you need to lie still on the ground when it is your turn to hide. We will meet at 12:30 PM at the Mashpee Commons Rotary RT 28 next to the fish mart.

DOGGIE NEWS
Houston Texass: Seven Pittbull dogs were found killed over the MLK holiday weekend. Three were shot. Four suffered blunt trauma to the head. One was shot in its crate. Police originally suspected a dog fighting ring...but none of the dogs had scars and the were well fed. The investigation continues...
Minnesota: A pittbull that attacked and bit the ex-husband of her mistress, to stop him from abusing her has been put to death. The dog did not pass a temperament test given by animal control after the incident. By the way he kicked the dog before he went to hit his ex (after spitting in her face)
Pitcher Mark Buehrle of the Florida Marlins refused to move into Miami/Dade County because it has an anti Pittbull ordinance. He moved into near by Broard County in order to keep his 18 month old rescued Pitt. He is also a spokes person for a petition to have the ban overturned.
PITTsburgh: Gary Terrell is glad he adopted Diamond his Pittbull puppy.
Gary is a deep sleeper and when his apartment building caught fire he stayed asleep. Diamond barked at him...nothing. She ran around the room...nothing. Finally she jumped up and down on Gary. He awoke to a lit up room. The light was the approaching fire. Good girl Diamond your a gem!
